The 2018 Ford Ecosport is a subcompact SUV offering a large number of amenities, lots of safety features and an intuitive infotainment system. Four trim levels are available: S, SE, SES and Titanium.
It is powered by a turbocharged 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine with an output of 123 hp. Buyers who want more power can opt for the 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 166 hp. Towing capacity stands at 2,000 lbs. Front wheel drive is standard with the option of adding in all-wheel drive.
The interior offers seating for five passengers and comes with cloth seats standard. Standard interior features include two USB ports, a rearview camera to assist with parking and reversing, a 4.2″ lcd screen and Ford’s MyKey which lets parents control volume and speed settings.
Cargo space stands at 20.9 cubic feet which is expandable to 50 cubic feet. Available safety features include air bags, brake assist, ESC, child safety locks and traction control.
