The 2018 Ford Mustang is a sports vehicle offering powerful engine choices and a stylish cabin. The Ford Mustang has been refreshed for 2018 with a more powerful V8 engine, new 10-speed automatic transmission and a few new styling touches. Available trim levels include: Ecoboost, GT or Premium. Two body styles are available, fastback coupe or convertible.
The Mustang Ecoboost engine comes with a turbocharged 2.3 liter four cylinder engine with 310 hp and 350 lb feet of torque. The GT model comes equipped with a 5.0 liter V8 engine with an output of 460 hp and 420 lb feet of torque. The Shelby GT350 offers a 5.2 liter V8 engine.
The number of available seating depends on the trim level. Most seat four passengers while the Ford Shelby GT350 R seats two passengers. Cloth seats are standard. Optional seating features include leather and temperature controlled seats, Recaro front seats and a temperature controlled steering wheel.
Standard interior features include push button start, bluetooth connectivity, two USB ports, a stereo system with six speakers and Ford’s SYNC system. Optional available features include remote start, a navigation system, satellite radio and a 8″ touch screen. Cargo space stands at 13.5 cubic feet while convertibles offer 11.4 cubic feet.
Available safety features include air bags, ESC, brake assist and 4-wheel disc brakes.
