The 2017 Ford F-150 has been named the top of green vehicle by AAA Green Car Guide.
“Many drivers need the flexibility of a larger vehicle, but still want to make a green choice,” said Megan McKernan, manager, Automobile Club of Southern California’s Automotive Research Center. “AAA awarded the Ford F-150 XLT the 2017 pickup category winner in the AAA Green Car Guide for its best-in-class fuel economy, great visibility, spacious interior and exceptional handling.”
Fuel efficiency is one of the primary factors considered by potential buyers when selecting a vehicle. A survey conducted by AAA shows that 70% of buyers consider fuel efficiency a top priority. The F-series has won numerous awards including best truck value from KBB and the F-150 4×2 was awarded the Greener Choice award by the ACEEE.
The Ford F-150 is a versatile truck that can be used for towing as well as a daily commuter. Towing capacity stands at 12,200 pounds with a maximum payload of 3,270 pounds. Available interior features include a moonroof, lane keep assist, a blind spot monitoring system and dual-zone automatic climate control.
